九月將至,暑假即將完結。身為家長,對於年幼子女開學定必非常緊張,如子女患有自閉症就更為擔心。擔心子女如何適應時間表的改變;課堂學習情況;老師能否照顧子女;有否吃掉午餐;是否懂得自己去廁所及情緒控制等。 在學校,我們運用ABA(應用行為分析)教學法教導學生積極準備自己以適應現實生活;同樣地,要讓他們開學有個好開始,家長也可運用以下方法幫助孩子預先適應和學習所需技能,為子女作充足的準備是非常重要的。 1. 開學前調整子女時間表,如在正式開學日前讓子女早點起床和早點睡覺,提早脫離假日模式。妥善分配時間讓孩子熟習活動之間的轉換,平衡玩樂、收拾及閱讀時間。 2. 臨近開學,要讓子女知道每天日程會有轉變。家長可為孩子製作簡單日程表,以繪圖形式讓子女覺得更有趣,也可製作開學倒數日程表,把已經完成的項目或日子刪除,讓他們知道自己的活動,這對於尚未有時間概念的學生尤其重要。 3. 預先熟習環境可減輕小朋友的焦慮,亦可避免同時間應對太多變化。家長可與子女預先熟習上學路線或安排參觀新學校。另外,坊間亦有很多遊戲和書籍讓你參考如何為孩子第一天上學作好準備。 4. 讓子女試穿校服、背上書包、用餐盒享用午餐、把用完的東西收拾好,為真正上學進行預演。只要預先計劃妥當,便可靜待開學。上學的第一天,不要忘記稱讚子女能準時起床,穿好校服,輕鬆上學。 在愛培學校,老師會在放暑假前派發日程紀錄表給家長記錄低子女的假期活動,並附圖展示孩子所長或其作品,除了作為教材與學生們分享外,也讓老師了解每位學生在假期時的生活和了解他們的轉變。 原文:親子頭條 -【開學了!】預先適應和學習所需技能 資訊提供: 文麗萍 – 愛培學校校長 早年於英國考獲心理學學位,並於美國及香港接受過美國自閉症權威學者Dr. Ronald Leaf及Dr.
