School setting ABA training – Part 1 – How to get students to raise their hand
Parent’s concern： My child has difficulties following school instructions. One thing that he has troubles with is raising his hand before answering questions from teacher. How should we teach him?In the beginning, parents can do role-play training with their child at home (ex. Mum as teacher, Dad as student A, child as student B). When the child is familiar with the training, parents can discuss the situation with the school teacher and invite school teacher/shadow teacher to train in class.
