Autism Partnership BEIJING Informal Observation and Consultation 2020
If any of the above questions concerns you, this informal observation for your child will be a great opportunity to answer all your uncertainties and worries. With the great success in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing in 2019, our director, Mr Toby Mountjoy, will visit Beijing with our senior Case Supervisors again to conduct this observation this year in March.
With face-to-face observation and consultation, we identify your child’s areas of strength and weakness and provide clinical advices. As a parent, you will learn greatly about your child’s current ability and needs for future development and training programs.
Mr Toby Mountjoy and Ms Teri Mok will:
• Conduct a parent interview and work directly with your child
• Identify your child’s areas of strength and weakness
• Provide guidance on curriculum areas for your child
• Provide advice on the current priority of treatment
• Provide direction on the format of therapy i.e. go to school, 1 on 1, small group, etc
• Demonstrate to parents skills to tackle child’s problem behaviors if any
• Answer parent questions

|Remarks:|| – Each session is limited to max. 1 child with 2 adults.
– Parent must accompany the child throughout the session time.
– Close caregiver is also allowed to attend the session.
*Successful applicants will be contacted by AP staff. 75% of the fees paid will be refunded for cancellation of a registration.

Mr. Toby Mountjoy
Mr. Toby Mountjoy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. With over 23 years of experience working with individuals with ASD, he has been extensively trained by Dr. Ronald Leaf, Dr. Mitchell Taubman and Dr. John McEachin. Besides overseeing the Autism Partnership operation in Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines and Singapore with over 200 staff, including psychologists, consultants and therapists, he has also provided consultations to school districts, agencies, and families worldwide. Mr. Mountjoy has also contributed chapters to publications such as “Sense & Nonsense” and “It’s Time for School”. In 2007, he founded the charitable Autism Partnership Foundation and Aoi Pui School to offer more services for children with Autism.
Ms Christy Lai
Ms. Christy Lai is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Ms. Lai joined Autism Partnership (AP) in 2011 and she has extensive experience in working with children with ASD. Ms. Christy Lai is currently one of the leading Case Supervision in the new established AP Beijing center. At the same time, she oversees the Little Learners program in Hong Kong and Shanghai and consults families in Asia. She directs overseas training to staff in the Train the Trainer program and provides parent education to families with children with ASD. She also conducts Jumpstart and PIIP programs locally and internationally. In addition, she is keen to assist in organizing overseas ASD conferences and workshops, and also to take lead of the design and production of AP teaching materials. Moreover, she helps with producing ABA training videos and articles in the APSPARKS website for public education.
Ms Teri Mok
Ms. Teri Mok obtained her Master degree in Early Childhood Education in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She joined Autism Partnership in 2002 and began working as a Program Specialist. She is experienced in working with children across different settings, including therapy session, small group training and ABA Classrooms. Moreover, she also helped conducting workshop for professionals in Mainland China and Hong Kong since 2013. Since 2014, Ms. Mok has been helping to set up an office in Manila, Philippine. She has been helping to design individualized programs, supervise cases, train local staffs, conduct school observation, provide parents and helpers training, and meet new families at AP Manila office. Currently, she focus on helping to establish our AP Beijing center and is one of the leading Case Supervisor.
